STRIPPING and rebuilding engines, transmission and suspension systems 'according to a strict schedule form the basis of the practical instruction given at the Rootes Service School at Stoke Aldermoor, Coventry, which was' officially opened last week.
The new school was, in fact, started some 18 months ago, and there has been a long waiting list for the three main courses since the various classrooms were completed. The courses are open to any member of the Rootes distributor-dealer organization and instruction is given on private cars And commercial vehicles_ Representatives from many overseas countries, including the Continent, the USA., Canada and the Argentine, have•already attended the courses.
