Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

L'OLLOWING the transfer to the London Transport Executive on September 30 of certain services operated in the Grays and Tilbury area by. the Eastern National Omnibus Co., Ltd., a scheme has been prepared for the co-ordination of the transferred routes with those run by the L.T.E. in the western sector of Grays. The scheme will be brought into effect on January 2, 1952.

The most important feature of the scheme is the linking of certain services now operating as separate routes in the eastern and western sectors of Grays to form through-routes. Services will be improved where possible and where there is a known traffic need. All the routes transferred to the L.T.E. in the eastern 'sector which are now worked by single-deckers will be operated by double-deckers.

.Upon the introduction of the scheme, the whole of London Transport's operations in. the Grays area will be transferred to the London Road garage and the use of the Argent Street garage will be discontinued. In place of 19 existing routes, 17 will be operated.
