FELIXSTOWE will be the UK port through which traffic will pass to and from a new US-Europe container service due to start early next month. This is the Amsterdam/ Bremen/Le Havre connection with New York to be run by Containers Marine Lines (owned by American Export Isbrandsten Line).
BRS are expected to handle the majority of the UK traffic for this service, which will operate fortnightly across the Atlantic.
