• Published on Monday by HMSO was the first part of the Ministry of Transport Standard Lists for semi-trailers. Manufacturers covered in this Part I are Ben Cooper, Bonallack and BTC.

In all there will be 16 parts in the semitrailer Standard Lists and these will be published in the following groups:—Part 2: Carter, Dixon-Bate, ERF and Fox; (3) King, Merriworth and Metalair; (4) Morgan, Multiwheelers, Neville and Peak; (5) Pennine, Pitt, Salop, Thompson (Trailmobile); (6) York; (7) Arrow and Boden; (8) Bristol, and Brockhouse; (9) Carrimore and Crane Fruehauf; (10) Duramin and Dyson; (11) ECG, Fromant and Hands; (12) Highway, HWP and Ibbett; (13) Lolode, Northern, Primrose and Rice: (14) Scammell; (15) Taskers; (16) which includes Walker, Welford, Wheatley, Whitlock and Wooldridge (M and G Artics).
