At the TRTA's request, Mrs. Barbara Castle met a senior deputation from the Association at the Ministry of Transport on Monday. They put to her some of the TRTA's fears on the operation of quantity licensing and certain aspects of the* drivers hours proposals.
Mrs. Castle undertook to look at some of the points raised.
Leading the delegation was the president, Mr. J. Delicate, accompanied by Mr. D. H. Joyce, treasurer, Mr. G. Page, vice-chairman, and Mr. H. R. Featherstone, director.
