I REFER to the photograph of a welder in full flight in Commercial Motor, November 10.
No good workshop manager would allow a welding job to take place right beside the plastic air hose of the disconnected trailer, because the hose could easily be damaged through the heat. I suggest the welding piece should be executed in a place which is designed for this kind of work, since in a proper workshop the people should not have to work on the floor.
With all the best regards, wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. TONI NAEF C/o Swiss Embassy Prague
