TACHOGRAPH evidence been used in a court to I clear a driver who knoc down and killed a woman.

At the inquest at Hamm' mith last week, PC Ron Wark showed the cour tachograph disc for driver's journey. It showed had not exceeded the sp. limit even on the motorv and had been driving at mph when he struck woman.
Coroner Dr John Burl said, "I think that tachogral are an extremely good thin cannot see why anyone sho object to it. The most tell evidence in this case is p vided by this machine. showed he was only do: 15mph when he struck 1 woman, less speed that bicycle."
