Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• 1 note that in your issue of 9-15 February announcing the BTAC Coventry Consult on 11 April 1989 you refer to our organisation as the British Transport Advisory Committee. This illustrious title could well result in some swelled heads among our members and, though we have had two "Engineer of the Year" awards to our members, I feel our true identity as Brewers should be stated and the word Brewery substituted for British.

We were also listed in your very useful "Directory of Association" 89 (CM 26 January) as the Brewery Transport Advisory Council, the latter word I feel is better than committee and may possibly be adopted.

My main reason for this letter is to avoid delegates cheques for the £80 seminar fee being titled British instead of Brewery, though both sound good!

Bill Montague,

Secretary, Brewery Transport Advisor)) Committee, Hornchurch, Essex.
