DISTRIBUTION — THE • EXT PHASE • A distribution conference is to be held at the Skyway Hotel, Heathrow, London on 1_6 March. Topics will include the development of home delivery services; the own-account operator viewpoint; and integrated road/rail distribution.

ETMC VISITS LONDON • The European Transport Maintenance Council Conference (ETMC), will be held on 26-29 November at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London. Reduced hotel rates have been arranged for ETMC delegates and their partners.

SCAMMELL'S FIRST 1989 GATHERING • The Scammell Owners & Enthusiasts Club is holding its opening event of the year at the Bass Museum, Burton on Trent. It is scheduled for Easter Sunday and Monday (26-27 March), with the trucks arriving from Saturday 25 March.

Restaurant and bar facilities will be available, and the number of vehicles will be restricted to 25.
