ALTHOUGH Dodge and Renault, which have joined forces as Karrier Motors, preserve their separate identities, their drivers' clubs share Drivers Express, one of the brightest newspapers of its kind. It was originally produced for the Dodge club but its scope and interest have been much extended by the merger.
Nick Buckley, Karrier's director of marketing, "a truck man all my working life," is appealing to all Dodge and Renault drivers to join their respective clubs, which costs nothing and offers positive benefits including personal accident insurance.
"We are in the age of sophisticated communication aids, yet there is a lack of contact between people in all sectors of our industry," he laments.
