TOR ROBERTS will be retiring as finance controller of Ocean insport and Trading at the end of December. Mr Roberts joined ry in 1969, before the Ocean Transport takeover in 1972.
Jntii 1975 he was director and ance controller of Cory DistriLion. From 1975-77 he was a ancial controller of another Cory division. He then moved to Liverpool where he became finance director of Ocean Fleets.
In 1980 he moved to his present position of finance controller of Ocean Transport.
Geoff Jackson will be taking over as finance controller. He started with Cory in 1963, and in 1972 he was part of the liaison team responsible for the Cory takeover. He held various positions within the Ocean group, and in 1978 became group chief accountant.
