OF German manufacture but imported into the UK by Grantham Rubber Co., is an electrically operated wheelnut spanner capable of tightening nuts from 0.5in. to 1.25in. Known as the Ideal, it works on the impact principle which means that nuts do not get overtightened. Height of the spanner
is controlled by a cable release and nuts are tightened simply by pressing a pushbutton. Both controls are situated directly in front of the operator.
