Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FIREPROOF?

Take advantage of this CM cut-price offer for a fire extinguisher

A fire is always something that happens to somebody else. But does it? Are you prepared for a fire in your driver's cab?

The Health and Safety at Work Acts puts the onus on employers to ensure that the employee's place of work is safe.

A driver's cab is his place of work—and it must be safe. Are your drivers protected from a cab fire ?

Are your loads and customers' goods protected from fire? If not it could cost you a fortune.

After throwing out so many questions, perhaps CM can suggest the answer. CM and Firesnow have got together and are offering two fire extinguishers at a reduced price.

The Police, British Rail, National Coal Board, and British Leyland, buy more than 100,000 Firesnow fire extinguishers between them, but they are not readily available on the retail market.

However, YOU can get yours through this CM special offer.

And CM is offering two types: A 31b model and a 71b model: The smaller appliance is suitable for engine or tyre fires. COST: 03.95 retail, inc. VAT but to you it is only £11.40 inc. VAT.

The 71b is designed to cope with bigger fires, such as a fire inside a lorry cab. Retail price £27.68 inc. VAT. Our special price: E22.50 inc. VAT.

There are special rates for orders of more than 25 appliances of the 71b model, and orders of more than 50 of the 31b model.

DESIGN Light, strong and easy to use the Firesnow extinguisher incorporates the latest tech • niques in design and construction. It has two main parts, the pressure charge and the operating headcap. The pressure charge is made from a drawn steel shell tested to 426.6 psi and sealed by a patented one-piece valve. The operating head is injection moulded Kematal with a brass striker and stainless steel spring.

EXTINGUISHANT The extinguisher is filled with BCF. Produced by ICI this is generally regarded as the most effective vaporising liquid available for putting out a fire. Though slightly toxic it is very good at preventing flashback and can be safely used on electrical fires as well as petrol, oil, paint and other flammable liquid fires.

QUALITY CONTROL Every pressure cylinder is tested and the unit is weighed after filling to ensure that it is full. It is then sealed, tested for leaks and check weighed again before dispatch.

CONTROLLED DISCHARGE The extinguishant jet is shut off by releasing the trigger, saving any unused contents while the operator moves position.

INSTANT READINESS A unique mounting bracket ensures that there are no catches to remove or pins to withdraw before use. You operate the trigger with one hand while opening the car door or bonnet with the other.

EASY CHECKING The contents can be regularly checked by weighing the extinguisher. If the weight is the same as that recorded on the unit, all is well.

RECHARGEABLE After use the head can be unscrewed from the pressure charge and sent back to Firesnow for refilling.
