NEW mileage and passenger records have been created by the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co., Ltd. In 1950. the company's fleet of 1,800 vehicles covered 71,952,917 miles and carried 450,901,444 passengers— increases of 964,791 miles and 12,282,249 passengers upon the totals for 1949.

Fifty-eight vehicles were added to the fleet last year, 25 new services were introduced, four services operated before the war were reinstated and the frequency of 173 other services was increased.
