Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The new 2421 range, which places the 2419, will get its St British airing at the Tipcon hibition in Harrogate next onth.

The last two digits of the hide designation relate to the N rating of the OM 421.11 V6 turally aspirated engine as ed in the 1621S lightweight ictive units. Installed, for in3nce, in a tipper chassis, the igine produces 150kW )1 bhp) at only 2,300 rpm for al economy while at the lower d of the new range, maximum rque is an improved almost 33 r cent — improving low-speed gging power.

The extra performance is the 5ult of a bore and stroke inaase which gives the V6 en-3e a 10.96-litre capacity.

Mercedes-Benz's own G3?ries eight-speed rangeange gearbox is standard; tipr versions include a crawler ar with a ratio of 13.36 to 1. The full-torque power take-off lye from the rear end of the gine is retained by MB's new ige.

The chassis on all models is strengthened by double-channel side-members which extend over the length of the spring base. Separate silencers for each bank of cylinders are joined to the down pipes by flexible couplings for good ground clearance.

The cab has better underfloor insulation and the park brake is mounted on the right hand-side of the facia; heating and ventilation controls are nearer to the driver than in the 2419 range.

Steering lock and heated mirrors are standard.

All daily services can be maintained through the front grille.

A 4.75 to 1 axle ratio on tipper models gives a geared speed of 91km/h (57mph).

Both clutch and crown wheel have been enlarged to accept the increased torque output.

Prices are quoted as £28,010 for the 3.6m (lift 10in) wheelbase tipper chassis weighing 7.08 tonnes while the 4.2m (13ft 9in) and 4.8m (15ft 9in) haulage models are £28,210 and £28,310.
