Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

It is announced that J. Brockhouse and Co., Ltd., of West Bromwich, has purchased the entire share capital of the Vulcan Motor and Engineering Co., Ltd.. Crossens, Southport. It is stated that the range of Vulcan commercialvehicle chassis will continue to be made and that spares and service facilities will be available to present and future operators. The Brockhouse concern intends to use the Vulcan works as a general engineering factory. The purchase of the business was satisfied by the issue of 52,000 21 ordinary shares, which have been taken up by a financial house. We understand that these, shares are not, at the present time, to be placed on the market.

R.S.A. Examinations.

A leaflet giving particulars of the scheme of education for administrative and operative staffs of road-transport undertakings,together with syllabuses of the examinations under the scheme to be held between May and June, 1938, is issued free by the Royal Society of Arts, John Street, Adelphi, London. W.C.2.

Classes under the scheme have been set up in many of the larger towns throughout the country, and the education authorities in other areas have promised to institute them if there be sufficient demand from local students.
