Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

COLINDALE-BECKER has updated its dual-purpose commercial and car roller brake-testers for up to 13 tons axle load.

Known as the EBS 13206/ 13505 Roller Brake Tester, it is similar to previous models but a fully automatic specification is now standard.

This includes automatic start for the rollers as well as automatic stop, which can be controlled either with the remote control by the driver of the tested vehicle, or by manually-operated controls on the meter unit.

The machines are dualdirectional, which makes them suitable for testing four-wheel drive vehicles and anti-locking systems. The large meters are fitted with an electromagnetic needle locking device which holds the needle at the maximum readings recorded.

Operation is entirely electronic and meters are automatically zeroed at the start of each test. No special calibration is required but if used for annual vehicle testing, an accuracy check can be made and a certificate issued on a four-monthly basis.

Optional extras include graphic recorder, roller cover plates and load simulator.
