COMMERCIAL Motor's Lorry Driver of the Year Competition National Finals day will see 240 finalists competing in eight class championships at the Cranfield Institute of Technology, Cranfield, Bedfordshire on September 20.
Princess Anne will present the awards to the champions and the 28th competition will also be attended by ex-world middleweight boxing champion Alan Minter.
Exhibitors will be running competitions for spectators and there will be a display of more than 150 historic commercial vehicles and a range of vehicles for test driving.
There is ample parking space and while admission is free there is a parking fee of £2 per car and £5 per coach which includes a programme of events. The c ompetition starts at 8am with the presentation of awards scheduled for 4pm.
