Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOUR NEW road schemes, aimed at reducing the nuisance from lorry traffic, have been added to next year's road programme.

Transport Secretary Norman Fowler says that a start should be made in 1982 on the A6 Chapel-en-le-Frith/Whalley Bridge by-pass to which the Armitage report drew particular attention.

Other schemes are the widening of the M63 Barton High-Level Bridge; the A339 Basingstoke Northern by-pass Stage 2; and the A27 Langstone Roundabout on the Havant bypass. A flyover will now be built to carry A27 traffic.

CHRISTIAN Salvesen's pre-tax profits for the six months to March 31, 1981, totalled £4.9m, with an operating profit of £5.8m. Sales for the same period totalled film.
