• Gray & Adams is to display two new trailer designs at the CV Show at the end of April. The first is a lifting-floor twin-decker for Gist Logistics with a dualtemperature capability. It uses a Carrier Vector fridge unit with a remote evaporator.
The host unit maintains the upper deck area at 5T, while the remote evaporator keeps the temperature of the lower deck at ?C. Capacity is 40 pallets. G&A will also show a 13.6m high-volume trailer built for Reed Boardall featuring a new neck designed for extra internal height.
Other products on show will include a multi-temperature trailer built for Safe
way deliveries of chilled, frozen and ambient goods to BP forecourt stores. This 10.4m 20-pallet unit is optimised for manoeuvrability with a command-steer axle.
Finally, the firm will be showing another dual-temperature unit: a 9.0m 26-tonner built for Brake Brothers/ Puritan Maid.
