• Bear Automotive says that its 92-400 four-gas analyser will comply with all the forthcoming requirements for vehicle emission control.
It says its computer-based analyser will be able to carry out all the prescribed tests for the MOT as it meets the OIML Class 1 standard.
The analyser self calibrates and can be used on vehicles with or without catalytic converters. It tests for hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and oxygen.
Preconditions for the test are as specified by the vehicle manufacturer in respect of temperature and rpm.
