Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A N appeal byBunny Hill Motors, Ltd., 171 Nottingharit, fOr six additional Alicence vehicles was dismissed by the Transport Tribunal in London, on Monday. The vehicles had been sought to increase Bunny Hill's service to an associate company, H. J. Baldwin and Co., Ltd , brick manufacturers.

Upholding a decision by the East• Midland Deputy Licensing Authority, the ' chairman of the Tribunal, Mr, Hubert Hull, said the facilities offered by local hauliers to the brickworks fell short of the ideal, and caused inconvenience to Baldwin's. However, this was not sufficient evidence to say that six vehicles should be granted to remove the inconvenience.

" We have had too much 'experience of applications made with the utmost good faith which, upon investigation, proved to be inflated," he explained. Bunny Hill had been granted six vehicles on A licence to assist 13aldwin's, and they.now wanted the additions because another kiln had been brought into operation at the brickworks.

Mr. Hull pointed out that evidence by British Road Services showed that they had 103 vehicles in Nottingham suitable for brick work, and six had been untaxed since February last year. These vehicles could be put at the disposal of Baldwin's, and would make good the deficiencies or defects complained of.
