Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

nRAFT regulations, to be issued under the Agricultural Safety, Health and Welfare Provisions Act, have. been withdrawn as a result of strong representations by various interests. It was proposed that no man should be allowed after January 1, 1958, to lift a sack weighing more than 1+ cwt. and that after January 1, 1961, this weight should be reduced to 1 cwt. Agricultural hauliers would be closely affected by this restriction.

This development was noted last week by the national executive committee of the Road Haulage Association.

It was agreed that area committees should be asked to stimulate interest in the Lorry Driver of the Year Competition.
