AN application by Nottingham Corporation to increase from 3d. to 4d. the adult single fare for journeys covering four stages has been granted by the East Midland Traffic Commissioners. In a reserved decision on Tuesday, Mr. A. G. Curtis, chairman, said the proposed increase could not be regarded as unreasonable (see also page 10).
The Corporation's scheme for revised stages on a section of their Trent Bridge routes shared with West Bridgford Urban District Council was also approved. .
