a 70-ton consignment 1. of Easielene washing ma-Chines was delivered to Southend Airport early on Tuesday by Trukair, a service run jointly by Atlas Air Services, Ltd., and Air Charter, Ltd., with the co-operation of independent express carriers.
The washing machines were then flown by Sabena to Ostend, whence they went by road to Brussels, arriving within 48 hours of leaving the Easielene factory in Wolverhampton.
Easiclene, Ltd., a Rubtery Owen subsidiary, have adopted this road-air-road service because if the delays and damage previously caused to consignments which went by rail and sea. .
