• The new Land Rover )iscovery has just gone on sale the UK featuring a new look, 'evised interior and a number )f technical enhancements. The )ompany says there are more han 700 changes to the atest model.
Innovations include a new and Rover 'family face' nspired by the latest Range lover, new rear tail lights, new 'rant bumper and grille, and lew interior trim colours.
Brakes and suspension have been improved, and a centre diff-lock is now available for improved off-road ability Refinement and build quality have also been addressed.
Prices for the new Discovery are unchanged from the previous model, beginning at £21,995 for the TD5E and rising to £34,490 for the VS ES. Rear Park Distance Control is now standard on ES models (and a £250 option on GS and XS versions). The S model still costs £24,495 but this now includes new-style alloy wheels, body coloured bumpers, front fog lights and a headlamp power wash.
The new range includes a two-seat commercial variant of the TD5. Price and features are as for mainstream models except that the interior trim is offered only in black.
