THE ROAD Haulage Association's insurance cover for international operators has been increased from £150,000 to E200,000.
Cover for goods carried under the CMR convention has been increased to take account of recent falls in the value of Sterling. Hauliers accept liability to a limit of 8.33 special drawing rights per kg, a rate which on recent exchange rates results in a maximum liability of £7,284 per tonne.
