This apparently happened at Carreras Rothman's factory at Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, which would have been in a packet of trouble if Able Freight Systems, of Manchester, had not been able to perform a small miracle.

A "maydaycall for cartons was received at Able's Sal office at 6.30pm. Unfortunate! they were at Carreras" Darlinc ton depot, to which a van WE dispatched post-haste. It arrive at about lOpm, was loaded wit three tons of packets and mad for the Stranraer-Larne ferr) The cartons were delivered i Carrickfergus at 9.30am.

This was more than a goo night's work for a 20-year-ol driver, Glenn Burns. A few mor trips like that and he will need Government health warnin printed on his pay packet.
