ANEW engine oil has been introduced by the Mobil Oil Co. Ltd. Called Improved Mobiloil Special, it is an S.A.E. 10W/30 oil but with Unproved detergency properties over the earlier
multi-grade product, Mobiloil Special, which it replaces.
Excellentanti-rust characteristics arc also claimed for the new oil, adding to its suitability for use in vehicles on short journey operation, and it is designed to meet the needs of diesel engines.
Improved Mobiloil Special costs 3d. a pint more than its predecessor and it is being sold in 1-pint plastic containers, quart and gallon cans, and is also available in bulk.
