You might think that a tabloid with the blazing headline "Switch Freight to the Canals" could be quickly identified as the product of an environmentalist group — or the Waterways Board. Not so; it's the heading chosen for the first issue of the Volvo Drivers Mirror, just out. Obviously this new paper for British drivers of Volvos has chosen the shock approach to get drivers reading.
That is, if they even notice the printed word. The full-colour pin-up of a Volvo driver's "mate" on the same front page is a real eyecatching playmate.
