Upwards of 200 men sat down to an excellent repast served in the works canteen, which was tastefully decorated. During the proceedings a message was received with loud applause from Mr. II. C. B. Underdown, chairman of Commercial Cars, Ltd., extending to all ex Service employees a hearty welcome an their return to the company, , The welfare superintendent, Mr. Singleton, mentioned that the company had not refused or rejected the service of an ex-soldier since November 11th. •
