• Work has been picking up for owner-operators in Cornwall and small areas of the West Midlands over the past month, according to the National Owner Drivers' Association. But NODA's Mick Binns says the upturn is circumstantial. He does not expect a general improvement in business for the association's 700 members until after the first quarter of next year.
