• Wolverhampton bodybuilder Transliner has gone into receivership and is looking for a buyer. It blames a fall in truck sales and the rise in interest rates.

However, the 13-year-old reefer specialist is still operating and its 51 staff are being kept on. Last year it turned over £3.5m and built about 500 bodies.

CI Doncaster Trailers is to close this week, and Commercial Motor understands that up to 40 staff will lose their jobs. It exhibited at the IRTE show this summer while still settling into Carrymaster's former site at Carcroft.
