Figures from DaimlerChrysler show that while indvidual vehicle manufacturers have had a successful 2003 there are some new generic trends emerging that affect all commercial vehicle registrations above six tomes. In particular, in the market breakdown by vehicle type, tractors and 7,5 tonners still dominate UK new HGV registrations. Likewise, the three-axle tractor continues to dominate the UK artic arena following the shift to 44 tonnes.
