Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DAYTIME BAN on deliveries on key Dublin city routes which has been in force since 1 March is to be reviewed at the start of April, but Dublin City Council says the ban will remain in force during the review.

Deliveries are banned on the main Dublin city centre routes from 7-10am and 12.30-7prn except at special bays. Clearways are also in force on a number of strategic routes.

Trucks breaking these restrictions will be clamped and their operators could be prosecuted.

Customers on the affected routes have drawn up a delivery management plan in consultation with their suppliers. A council spokeswoman says many people are not yet aware of the new regs despite extensive briefings over the past year. "We will know by traffic patterns in the first week and we feel a month is a realistic period to assess the scheme," she adds. "All will tell in the next month."

The pilot scheme has been agreed between Dublin City Council. the IRHA, Dublin Chamber of Commerce, the Retail Grocery Dairy and Allied Trades Association, the Food and Drink Industry Ireland, the Beverage Council of Ireland, the Consumer Electronics Distributors Association and the National Off Licence Association.
