last week on the driver of a lorry and her haulier father for running a vehicle with bodywork that was likely to cause danger to other road users, and without mudwings. The police evidence was that the floor of the lorry consisted of sheet metal with exposed jagged edges. There was no wing on the off side.
The lorry was stated to have covered 243,000 miles without a breakdown in the past 2i years.
