HREE ex-employees of British Road Services have taken up executive iointments with Silver Roadways, 21 Bermondsey Wall West, S.E.16, who, as reported on e 563, now have 28 vehicles under :ial A licences.
Ir. H. A. Brackstone, former South tol group traffic superintendent of .S., has been appointed Bristol ager of the company. Before 3nalization, he was a branch ager of Southern Roadways, Ltd., whom he served for 25 years. r. V. J. Brown, the new Cardiff ages, was until recently senior c controller at the Ferry Road t of B.R.S. He began his career Lansdown Motors, Cardiff, whom :rved until nationalization.
Mr, P. S. Gibbs, who has been appointed engineer, was on the engineering staff of H. and G. Dutfield, Ltd., before they were acquired by the British Transport Commission. While with B.R.S. he served in the district and divisional workshops until he was appointed Islington group maintenance superintendent.
The company have recently opened offices at 70 Prince Street, Bristol, I, and 10 Dumfries Place, Cardiff. Mr. R. J. Elmes,,,M.Inst.T., is general manager.
