ABOUT half the transport units without premises in List R2 have been sold. The British Transport Commission and the Road Haulage Disposal Board announced on Tuesday that the highest tender had been accepted for 71 units (188 vehicles) out of a total of 144 units (348 vehicles) offered. AB tenders were rejected for 29 units (95 vehicles). No bids were received for 14 units (65 vehicles).
