Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW marketing agreement, with the possibility of co-operation in building new vehicles, has been agreed befween Mack and Renault Vehicules Industrie!.

The agreement leaves open the question of a new "Club-of-Two" but a statement says the agreement could lead to the distribution of Mack vehicles through the Renault dealer network.

At present the agreement provides for the distribution of Renault medium-weight vehicles in America and Canada and they will be available there in the New Year.

Mack president A. W. Pelletier said that Mack has had talks with several European manufacturers but had come to the conclusion that the Renault range would complement Mack's range.

The agreement brings into question the possibility of a new Transatlantic vehicle developed by the two companies and possibly for sale on both sides of the Atlantic.

If this were to happen, it would be the first time that a European manufacturer has co-operated with an American maker to produce a vehicle.
