Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TRANSPORT Minister William Rodgers is likely to order a crackdown on operators who are dodging paying the full amount of road tax for their vehicles.

And already Kent consumer protection officers — responsible for check-weighing vehicles in roadside checks — are taking on an extra and unpaid job of reporting untaxed vehicles.

From 50 roadside checks they found 204 untaxed or illegally taxed vehicles which they reported to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Centre at Swansea.

The centre now has every vehicle in Britain on its computers after years of troubles and Mr Rodgers is ready to put it into action to find the tax dodgers.
