Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

An experiment in school transport, which is probably one of the first of its kind n the country, is being tried with pupils at Warwickshire school for the new term.

Previously all children living less than hree miles from Kingsbury High School lad to pay full children's bus fare. Now hose living within the limit at Hurley, near 'amworth, Staffs, have been issued with pecial passes to allow them to travel at a educed rate.

The rest of the fare will be paid by Varwickshire education committee.

The decision to subsidize the fares ollows a series of one-day "strikes" when nothers kept their children from school as a irotest against the cost of transport-10p a lay for each child.

Other pupils in the village living outside he limit have free transport although they ravel on the same bus and use the same bus top.

Under the experimental scheme, parents All pay £3.50 a term for each child.
