II A special dumper tipping gear has been developed by Telehoist Ltd for use exclusively on 6 x 4 and 6 x 6 Magirus Deutz chassis. The LKIO tipping gear used on this application gives a 64deg angle of tip and can tip more than 20 tons in less than 10 seconds. The bodies also supplied and built by Telehoist, are of 12 cu yd capacity. with -j-in. single-plate floor—a guard in 10-gauge mild steel fully protects the cab.
