Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• It was with interest that I read your review on page 8 of CM (15-21 Aug) of the Lynx streamline semi-trailers.

I was rather concerned regarding the paragraph where you state that on the final prototype, Lynx intends tapering the rear valances similar to the rear valances on the Cartwright Aerodynamic Trailers. Having read the article I phoned David Mitchell of Lynx to ask whether he was aware that these designs were patented. He advised me that he was aware of patents and would not be copying them in their entirety. The statement in CM did make the point that they would be similar. [think it is rather important that your readers are made aware that these designs are in fact patented by Ricardo Test Services. S Newton
