• Skoda could be importing a pickup based on the Favorit hatchback by the end of the year.
The new Skoda Pick-up has a payload of 500kg with a driver and passenger on board. Load bed dimensions are 1,505mm long and 1,370mm wide with 870mm between the wheelarches, Power is provided by a 1,289cc petrol engine mounted transversely at the front, developing 46kW (62hp) with 84Nin (621hft) of torque. Drive is transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed gearbox: a three-way catalytic convertor is offered as an option. Prices have yet to be announced.
