• Mahindra will launch its commercial 4x4 Marksman range at Motorfair later this month. As predicted (CM 1-7 Nov 1990), the new model will be offered with a larger 2.5-litre Peugeot diesel engine.
Three models are on offer: soft top, hard top and truck cab. Construction is all-steel with the body bolted to a ladder-frame chassis. Payload is 475kg with a 75kg driver and the Marksman will tow a 1,500kg braked trailer.
