• Welding equipment supplier Murex has added several products to its line-up, including two arc welders and a range of welding fume extractors.
The portable Transarc Tradesman DC 205 operators from a 240V or 415V single-phase supply and can use electrodes up to 5mm diameter.
The Tradesman 135, operates from 240V or 110V supplies and can use welding electrodes up to 3.25mm diameter.
For fume extraction Murex has launched the Vortex range, which covers equipment from fixed hoods to telescopic arms and fans. To conserve heat and energy the system can be activated automatically by the light of the arc.
Two portable units are also available. They filter the air and discharge it back into the workshop, the fixed units discharge it outside.
