Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• On Friday last week official proposal RH(87) was issued by the Road Haulage Wages Council. The principal changes proposed are:— (1) Higher rates of pay for new categories of drivers of vehicles exceeding 21-tons capacity.

(2) Increase in pay for workers wh ose total weekly minimum remuneration for not less than 40 hours falls below 300s.

(3) Increase in holiday remuneration and accrued holiday remuneration.

Representation about these proposals should be made within 14 days from April 26, 1968, to the Secretary of the Wages Council, Ebury Bridge House, Ebury Bridge Road, London, SW I.
