Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SALES of the new AEC Swift rear-underfloor

engined bus chassis now exceed 400. Latest orders include 20 for Cardiff City Transport, 10 for Aberdeen Corporation Transport and two for the Huddersfield Joint Omnibus Committee. All these will be fitted with the AEC AH 505 engine and four-speed monocontrol semi-automatic transmission.

The Cardiff order represents the city's first major use of one-man-operated buses. Both these and the Aberdeen chassis will be fitted with dualentrance bodies.

Meanwhile orders continue to be received from overseas for the AEC Regent V double-deck bus chassis. The latest—from the West Pakistan Board—is for 51 30 ft. chassis to be supplied c.k.d. and fitted with locally-built bodies in Karachi.
