driver died after being overcome by fumes from a gas stove in his cab, a Chesterfield inquest heard last week.

Another Slovenian driver, Djordjevic Nikola, found Jozef Gorinsek slumped in the cab with a lighted stove beside him.

He grabbed Gorinsek's neck and shook him in a bid to rouse him.

Staff from Englender Upholstery at South Normanton dragged Gorinsek, 33, of Ulka, Slovenia from the vehicle and tried to revive him.

Paramedics were called but Gorinsek died from carbon monoxide poisoning on the afternoon of 23 March. The North Derbyshire coroner, Tom Kelly, recorded a verdict of death by misadventure.
