BRITISH transport planning consultants, Martin and Voorhees Associates, together with its computer services subsidiary Systematica, has been bought by a group of its directors from the US Planning Research Corporation PRC.

Founded in 1968 as the UK subsidiary of Alan M. Voorhees and Associates (now PRC Voorhees, MVA has offices in London and Hong Kong and a staff of over 60. Some two thirds of the company's work is outside the UK and its computer programs are currently in use in 18 countries.

In future, Martin and Voorhees Associates will be known as the MVA Consultancy, while Systematics becomes MVA Systematics.
